New Acrylic Gallery Product Spotlight

We’ve just added a new product to our wall art range for our portrait photography services.

This is a unique product that caught our eye and is something very different to what’s currently available in the marketplace.

The overall dimensions of the product in its entirety is 20″x10″, and features three removable 4″x4″ acrylic photo blocks.

The quality, feel and weight of this product is evident as soon as you hold it in your hands – it oozes class.

The biggest selling point though is the three photo blocks themselves… this is the genius of the product; the ability to remove and or switch the three photo blocks over in any of the mounts.

This even allows you to remove them and display them on a nearby shelf, mantelpiece or coffee table temporarily as they are designed to be self-standing when not being housed within the frame structure!

Even better still, there are further options that you could purchase additional photo blocks which mean that you can change any of the photos on display in the future or at any given point!  Cool or what?!

So if you were to return for another photo shoot with your family say the following year, you could purchase a couple of new photo blocks from that session to then replace the originals, or mix them all up… leaving the surplus ones to be displayed as free-standing items in their own right within your home.  You’ll then always have the ability to change your display as you feel from day-to-day and year-to-year.

It’s because of this versatility in addition to its beauty and sheer quality, that we think that this new item is going to be a very popular product with all our clients!

A retrospective look back at our 2015 weddings

This is a retrospective look back at some of our favourite shots and moments from our 2015 weddings.

2015 was another cracking year, and as always it’s both an honour and a pleasure to be involved with all our couples’ weddings.

Please enjoy the brief two minute slideshow which showcases a small selection of images from during the course of the year.

I wanted to try and keep the slideshow to just 2 minutes rather than make it a lengthy view – which meant that it was incredibly tough to shortlist the images to a smaller quota.

I could have so easily shared many other images, but I didn’t want to bore you all! 😉

Commercial Shoot for the Abbeyfield Society in Sutton, Surrey

This was a rather fun and endearing commercial shoot.

It was for the Abbeyfield Society who are a charity that help the elderly, and run over 500 residential homes over the country.

I was commissioned to photograph the Abbeyfield’s newly appointed Chief Executive, Natasha Singarayer, swap her role for a day to instead go and cook a meal for all the residents at one of their homes in Sutton, Surrey.

Ironically, the particular home that the shoot took place at, unbeknown to me at the time, had once upon a time been the home of one of my grand parents many years ago! Spooky!

The point of the shoot was to capture images of Natasha undertaking her role in the kitchen preparing the meal for the residents, and then also interacting with the residents before and during the meal itself.

The point of the exercise was that Natasha wanted to experience first hand, what their staff do, and also get a feeling for the homes and how certain things work and or could possibly be improved.

It was a really lovely job to be involved with – watching Natasha interact with both the staff and residents, and for me too, to also meet some of the elderly residents.

One thing for sure, it certainly opened my eyes to what the staff at The Abbeyfield Society, and many other residential homes across the UK offer and provide to the elderly.

Here’s some of the photos from the day here below…

Baby Ronnie’s Newborn portrait photo shoot

Aside of the wedding work that we carry out throughout the year, we do also cover various portrait shoots of families, children and newborn babies.

These can be either studio or location based portraits, depending on what our client prefers.

One form of portraiture that we frequently get requests for is babies, whether that be at the newborn stage, 6 months or 12 months – we cover all of these key ages.

Why not have a look at one of our newborn shoots from a few months ago here to gauge a feel for the type of shots that we’d look to capture for a typical newborn shoot.

If you have any questions about our portrait services, then please do not hesitate to drop us a line to discuss your requirements further.
